What is Troopers CoverMe?

CoverMe is Troopers’ new complimentary protection programme for talents. With the introduction of Troopers CoverMe, the previous Troopers Protection will be officially discontinued effective 1 April 2026.

Once you complete at least one job in a month through the Troopers app, CoverMe is activated and you will enjoy:
Insurance protection if an accident happens while you are on shift
E-Doctor (online consultation) services and basic medicines for minor health issues
Work Guarantee support if a verified job is cancelled at the last minute
Future Funds opportunities, where your Troopers earnings statement can help with small financing via our bank partner

CoverMe is free of charge for eligible Troopers talents and does not reduce your shift salary in any way. Terms and conditions apply.

Do I have to pay for CoverMe?

No. CoverMe is complimentary for all active Troopers. Once you complete at least one job in a month, your coverage activates automatically for that month.

How do I know if I’m eligible?

CoverMe is for Malaysians only, from 18 to 65 years old. If you have completed a shift in the current month, you are automatically eligible. However, if you have not done any shifts, you will not be eligible.

Do these benefits apply to all job types?

Yes. As long as the job is booked and completed through the Troopers app, CoverMe applies whether you’re working events, F&B, retail, warehouse or hospitality or any job

Who do I contact if I need to make a claim or ask about my coverage?

Reach us via the Troopers Contact Us section of the app or email to support@troopers.com.my , We’ll guide you through the process or connect you to the right partner.

What are the terms and conditions of CoverMe?
Insurance - What does this insurance cover?

When your CoverMe is active and you are on a Troopers shift, you are protected if an accident happens. You may receive:

  • Up to RM7,500 if you pass away or become totally and permanently disabled due to an accident. (+RM7,500 bonus if you’re a 4.5 star talent)
  • RM50 per day, up to 30 days, if you are hospitalised due to an accident (hospital income paid to you) (+RM25 bonus per day if you’re a 4.5 star talent)
  • Up to RM400 (RM100 deductible) to replace your smart device if it is lost by snatch theft or damaged in a covered incident (+RM300 bonus if you’re a 4.5star talent)


This complimentary coverage is provided by Great Eastern (via Vsure Tech)

Insurance - When am I covered under this insurance?

 You are generally covered when:

  • Your CoverMe is active (you have completed at least 1 shift in the month with no report), and will be covered until the end of the calendar month.
  • The accident happens while you are on a Troopers shift, in line with Great Eastern and Vsure’s terms and conditions.
Insurance - Do I need to pay or sign up for this insurance?

No. This insurance bundle is complimentary for eligible Troopers talents under CoverMe. There is no extra fee and no salary deduction for this coverage.

Insurance - Does this insurance cover normal sickness or accidents outside my shift?

No. This insurance is meant for accidents related to your work while you are on a Troopers shift. It does not cover:

  • Normal sickness (e.g. flu, fever)
  • Accidents that happen outside of your working time or not related to your shift

For sickness and minor health issues, you can use E-Doctor instead.

Insurance - How do I make a claim if something happens?

 If you need to claim:

  1. Go to Troopers App -> Profile, then click on Contact Us. You will find the claims form under Troopers CoverMe section - Insurance Claims.
  2. Share basic details of the incident.

Our team will guide you on next steps and, if needed, connect you to the insurance partner to complete your claim.

E-Doctor - What is E-Doctor?

E-Doctor is an online doctor service for active CoverMe talents, provided by HeyDoc Health through their Future K mobile platform. You can:

  • Speak to a licensed doctor online for minor or short-term health problems
  • Get basic medicine and e-Health Advisory (e-HA) without going to the clinic
E-Doctor - What benefits do I get under E-Doctor?

When your CoverMe is active, you are entitled to:

  • 1x online doctor consultations (9:00 am – 10:00 pm, 7 days/week)
  • 1x e-prescription with basic acute medications included each month worth RM50
  • 1x e-Health Advisory (e-HA) per month

1x free medicine pick-up at partner pharmacies (optional delivery is available at your own cost)

E-Doctor - How do I access E-Doctor?

You will:

  1. Download and use the Future K mobile app (Google Play Store / Apple AppStore)
  2. You’ll receive your login details via WhatsApp. Your account will be ready in 24 hours.

  1. With these details, you can login to Future K app, and start using their services.
E-Doctor - Who can use this service – only me or my family as well?

Your family members can also use E-Doctor, but:

  • The usage is based on the same quota and your Future K account.
  • All consultations and entitlements share the same monthly quota.
E-Doctor - What kind of health problems can I use E-Doctor for?

E-Doctor is designed for minor conditions, such as:

  • Cough, flu, sore throat, fever
  • Stomachache, gastritis, nausea, diarrhoea
  • Headache, joint pain, sprain
  • Eczema, skin infections, insect bites, head lice

Dysmenorrhoea (period pain), simple UTI (female), conjunctivitis (red eyes)

E-Doctor - What is NOT a suitable condition to seek consultation on E-Doctor?

E-Doctor is not suitable for serious or complicated problems, including (not limited to):

  • Chronic diseases like asthma, hypertension, diabetes
  • Heart disease, cancer, complicated or severe infections
  • Serious injury, fractures, abscesses
  • “Red-flag” symptoms such as severe chest pain, stroke-like symptoms, or signs of internal bleeding

For these conditions, you should go to a clinic or hospital immediately, not rely on E-Doctor consultation.

E-Doctor - Do I need to pay for the medicines?

Basic medicines for minor conditions, within the partner’s approved list and quantity, are included. However:

  • Extra medicines or non-covered items are self-paid
  • Medications for chronic diseases are also self-paid

Prescriptions made after 7:00 pm will usually be processed the next day.

Future Funds - What is Future Funds?

Future Funds helps you use your Troopers work history to support applications for micro financing with our banking partner (Bank Islam via the Be U app). It is meant to help you build a more stable financial future using proof of income.

Future Funds - Do Troopers give me the loan directly?

 No. Troopers do not give loans. We help by:

  • Provide your earnings statement by going to Troopers App, click Profile, click on Earnings History, Click on the 3 dotted icon on top right, and download your statement.
  • Allow the bank to see your work and income history

The bank will decide whether to approve the financing based on its own rules and assessment.

Future Funds - How do I use my Troopers earnings for financing?

To use Future Funds:

  1. Download the Be U by Bank Islam app (Google Playstore / Apple AppStore)
  2. Apply for micro-financing in the app.
  3. When requested, upload your Troopers earnings statement as part of your income proof.
  4. To download Earnings Statement, Go to Profile, click on Earnings History, Click on the icon on top right, and download your statement.
Future Funds - Is approval guaranteed if I have earnings with Troopers?

No. There is no guarantee of approval. Your Troopers earnings statement:

Helps show that you have consistent income, but the bank will still assess your application and may approve or reject based on their credit criteria and regulations

Future Funds - Will this affect my salary or deductions in the app?

No. Future Funds does not reduce your Troopers earnings. Your salary from shifts is paid as usual. Future Funds only gives you the option to use your Troopers earnings information when applying for financing with the bank.

Work Guarantee - What is the Work Guarantee?

Work Guarantee is a protection that helps you when a verified client cancels your shift too close to the start time. It is meant to reduce your loss when you have already planned your time for the job.

Work Guarantee - When am I entitled to inconvenience compensation?

 You may be entitled to compensation if:

  • The job is a verified Troopers gig, and
  • The client cancels within 24 hours before the shift start time (Exclusions applied to Shopee Express Warehouse Crew, Shopee Express Rider/Drivers.), and

If all conditions are met, you may receive up to 50% of the shift rate as inconvenience compensation.

Work Guarantee - How will I receive the compensation?

 If approved, the amount will be:

  • Credited as Available Earnings in your Troopers app.
  • Paid within 90 days from the date of the incident

This compensation is paid by Troopers, not deducted from your earnings.

Work Guarantee - Do I need to apply, or is it automatic?

In many cases, Troopers will review cancellations automatically. However, if you feel you are entitled and did not receive anything:

  • You may head to Troopers App -> Profile, then click on Contact Us. You will find a form under Troopers CoverMe section - Work Guarantee Claims.
  • Provide the details of the cancellation and submit.

Our team will investigate and update you on your status

Work Guarantee - Does this apply if I cancel, arrive late, or no-show?

No. Work Guarantee only applies when the client cancels under the agreed conditions. If you cancel the shift, arrive late, do not show up, You are not entitled to inconvenience compensation, and further action may be taken according to Troopers’ policies.
