TROOPERS Platform Fee

Introducing Platform Fee

Effective 01.04.2026, Troopers will levy a platform fee on the Talent’s completed shift basic earnings made through our Troopers App. This nominal fee supports and funds ongoing platform maintenance,  feature enhancements, and delivers a modern, efficient, and reliable user experience.

This platform fee, sometimes known as a service fee, is commonly charged by many online service platforms for continued use of their tools and features.

Platform Fee Structure

The Platform Fee is 2% of the Talent’s basic shift earnings, excluding commissions, claims, or reimbursements. However, we are having a free introductory period where we will waive this platform fee until 30.04.2026

  • Fee applies only when a shift is completed.
  • Fee will be automatically deducted from the Talent’s earnings before crediting to Talent’s Troopers account.
  • Estimated fee will be displayed on each job posting or Earnings History.
  • Fee may be varied by Troopers with 30 days prior written notice via Troopers App and/or Troopers platform.

For example:

When applying for a job comprising 2 shifts [each Shift for RM100.00 (basic earnings) plus RM10.00 (meal reimbursements)] on Troopers App, the estimated total basic earnings of RM200.00 (from all shifts in that job, excluding reimbursements) and the estimated Platform Fee RM4.00 (RM200.00 x 2%) will be displayed before you confirm to apply.

Upon completion of the job, the Platform Fee of RM4.00 will be automatically deducted from the basic earnings only, with the net amount of RM216.00 [RM200.00 (basic earnings) + RM20.00 (meal reimbursements) - RM4.00 (Platform Fee)] be credited to your Troopers Account.

Purpose of the Fee

The monthly platform fee contributes directly to:

  • Verified Jobs Compensation: All job postings undergo legitimacy and safety checks to safeguard Talents during their assignments.  If talents were to come across any fraudulent or job postings or unsafe work conditions, they may receive compensation of up to one hundred percent (100%) of the shift rate, only once it is proven.
  • Work Guarantee Compensation: If any Shift is cancelled within twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled Shift, a compensation amount up to fifty percent (50%) of the shift rate will be payable and credited within ninety (90) days from the Talent’s valid submission of request. Exclusions apply to Shopee Xpress Warehouse Crew, Rider, Driver jobs. This benefit is intended as a gesture of support and is subject to Troopers’ assessment of the circumstances and eligibility criteria.
  • Product Development: Continuous app enhancements including Troopers Academy course creation, AI-driven features, and user experience improvements.
  • Recruitment and Job Management Tools: Maintaining and upgrading tools to support streamlined assignment matching, communication, and workflow management.
  • Dedicated Talent Support: Ensuring timely, effective assistance for all users through our support services.

Distinction from Other Fees

This platform fee is distinct and separate from any commissions, reimbursements, claims or transaction-related charges. It is a fee for ongoing improvements and maintenance of the Troopers App, reflecting monthly operational and developmental costs required to keep things running smoothly, rather than a percentage of individual assignments.

Complimentary two (1) Month Period

For a period of two (1) calendar months from 30.04.2026, Troopers will absorb the Platform Fee for all Talents. This period serves as an adjustment phase, allowing Talents to explore and utilise our Troopers App and its services without incurring the Platform Fee.

This complimentary period is provided as a benefit and a grace period for all Talents to evaluate the platform and its continued usage. Talents who wish to continue access beyond this complimentary period may continue to use our platform as usual, and the Platform Fee will commence and be automatically deducted from the Talent’s Shift  Earnings at the end of the complimentary period. Talents who do not wish to continue access may discontinue their use before the expiry of this complimentary period.
