Starting 2 April 2026, a 2% 0% Platform Fee applies to every completed shift on Troopers. We are having a free introductory period where we will waive this platform fee until 30 April 2026.
• The fee is only charged when you complete a shift
• It is automatically deducted from your earnings for that shift
• The total shift earnings after the 2% 0% fee deduction is what you’ll see in your Troopers app as your earnings
The Platform Fee is a small 2% charge on your shift earnings. It helps Troopers keep the app running smoothly, protect your jobs, and offer better support and features over time. T&Cs apply. We are having a free introductory period where we will waive this platform fee until 30 April 2026.
The fee is only charged when you complete a shift. If you don’t complete the shift, no Platform Fee is deducted for that job.

The fee is 2% of your basic shift earnings.

The Platform Fee helps Troopers to (T&Cs apply):
No, the platform fee is only charged on completed shift earnings. If the client cancels less than 24 hours before start time and it qualifies, Work Guarantee may pay you up to 50% of your shift rate as inconvenience compensation (T&Cs apply).
If you cancel or no-show, you will not earn from the shift and platform fee does not apply. However, your ratings and future opportunities may be affected according to Troopers’ policies.
No. The Platform Fee is charged on your basic shift earnings only. It does not apply to things like, claims, reimbursements or approved allowances (unless stated otherwise in the job).
Yes. Troopers may adjust the Platform Fee in future, but we will give you at least 30 days’ notice through the Troopers App and/or official channels before any change takes effect.

No. The Platform Fee is part of using the Troopers App and its services. However, the protections and improvements it supports are designed to give you more value.
Yes. Platform Fee is determined by the shift start date, not the application or confirmation date. Any shift starting on or after 1 May 2026 will incur the fee. All shifts occurring in April remain fee-waived.
Yes. You can view and download these details directly within your Earnings Statement in the app.
Yes. The fee is transaction-based. Because each job is processed as a separate engagement, the fee will be applied to the gross earnings of every individual shift you complete.
Yes. If a job is cancelled after check-in and you receive a payout, the Platform Fee will be applied to that earned amount.
Yes. The Platform Fee is deducted from your earnings and certain reimbursements only.

If a technical glitch results in an overcharge or an incorrect deduction, we will investigate the incident. Once the error is verified, a full refund of the disputed fee will be credited back to your account.
Work Guarantee is a protection that helps you when a verified client cancels your shift too close to the start time. It is meant to reduce your loss when you have already planned your time for the job.
